Meeting the needs of all residents regardless of any attribute including age, race, status, gender, religion, views, preferences, and/or any other difference
Actively searching for and implementing materials, services, and programs that are relevant, educational and enriching to all patrons
Recognizing that our differences - and respecting the differences of others- “unites and educates us”
Keeping community archives that include records and stories from all residents - especially those that may be less visible
Seeking out those that may feel marginalized, forgotten or unwelcome
The building, books, equipment, resources belong to EVERY member of the community.
This is every patron's place to learn, to ask questions, to explore, to connect, to become.
The library as the center of the community. A place where people go to find answers, make connections with information, technology, resources of many types and most of all with each other.
